Trade fairs are a fundamental moment for the economic and tourist growth for the hosting city. Not only participants in the event benefit, but it also becomes an opportunity for profit for numerous industries such as the hotel or restaurant sector.
The fair represents a driving force for the local economy and tourism, an international stage for exhibitions such as the Progetto Fuoco, a top event in the biomass heating fairs that takes place in Verona on even years. Participation in the fair entails the arrival of thousands of tourists in the city.
At this extraordinary event, an important commitment at an organisational level also belongs to the region and municipality which derives popularity and experience with an unequalled return of wealth.
What do we mean by biomass heating
The term biomass means the group of animal or vegetable organisms in a given environment, be it aquatic or terrestrial.
Since the beginning of the century, the use of biomass to heat homes has had a significant increase, especially in Europe and China mainly in the use of pellet. In 2010, the use of this fuel is estimated to be around 10 million tons and it is hypothesised that it can be doubled to over 20 million in 2020.
The importance of biomass in the panorama of domestic heating is such that fairs are organised around Italy every year where the most important exhibitors present the absolute novelties of their products in the field of heating with wood. Not unique but certainly among the most prestigious fairs in the European panorama is Progetto Fuoco which gathers more than 800 companies from Italy and abroad.
Progetto Fuoco is not only fair but it is also an authoritative magazine as regards all that is energy from wood. We are talking about stoves, fireplaces, kitchens and boilers operating with wood or pellets. The magazine is aimed at a large audience trying to satisfy requests and curiosities from different points of view: from retailers, hardware stores, showrooms, construction trade and large retailers to the buyer who often has to deal with topics such as energy-saving, access to incentives, maintenance.
Why participate in a trade fair?
The many fairs set up around Italy and Europe certainly have a fundamental role in increasing the use of biomass to replace traditional methane or LPG. To the commercial need to sell their product, the participating companies also undertake to promote a more attentive energy solution to the needs of the environment in favour of renewable energy.
Why is exhibiting at a trade fair good for a company?
Displaying a brand at a national fair will make it possible to make the same known to a much wider audience than another marketing choice as the event will already be a selector of interest towards the public who will visit the various stands. It will allow you to present yourself and introduce yourself to customers, dealers, installers to positively increase your productivity.
Why is a private individual doing well to visit a biomass fair?
As we have previously said, the use of BIOMASS energy has a fundamental role as regards attention to the environment. Those who turn to the fair will seek answers to doubts regarding this nature-friendly technology; will have the opportunity to compare different brands and the products they sponsor; If interested in purchasing, you can buy it inexpensively by taking advantage of the fair discounts that are often present in events.
Why is it good for an installer to visit a biomass trade fair?
If on the one hand there is the brand that offers the product revealing its novelties for that year, on the other the installer, who is often also the last seller to suggest to the customer what to buy and install according to the specifications of such a model or based on the needs/requests of the buyer. The synergy of the two actors, producer and seller, are essential for a professional sale and attentive to the laws in force and possible solutions to customer requests.
